Warm MOOM to honey consistency by placing the open jar of MOOM in centre of you microwave unit & heating it for 10 seconds at a time. As the strength of microwaves vary, ALWAYS test temperature before use. MOOM should never be hot, it can cause serious burns and it will not work. You can also use a pot of boiling water; ensure the water does not come up higher than halfway up the jar.
Wash and dry skin completely before application to remove any dirt, makeup or lotions.
Following the direction of hair growth, apply paper-thin layer of MOOM on the area, immediately place MOOM fabric strip on top, leaving the end of the strip free for a firm grip.
Rub your hand over strip rapidly 3 times to adhere it well.
Holding the skin taut below strip with one hand zip the fabric quickly in opposite direction of hair growth, keeping the strip as close & parallel to the skin as possible.
Being water-soluble makes MOOM a great and easy product to use: if you've applied MOOM in the wrong area, simply wash it off, dry your skin and try again.
Have a damp cloth handy for cleaning hands during MOOMing.
It is a good idea to lay a towel beneath you to keep your work area clean. If you do spill MOOM anywhere, you can easily clean it up with a moist towel.
Study direction of hair growth before you start.
Always spread MOOM IN DIRECTION of hair growth and remove the strip IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION. Always pull strip off in one quick motion parallel to the skin along itself. The faster you pull the fabric strip the better the results. Do not peel or pull off slowly.
2 week rule: previously shaved hair is strong & resistant. Wait approximately 2 weeks for a 1/4'' (1/2 cm) growth before first use.
The thinner the layer of MOOM, the better the results.
The same strip may be used 2-3 times.
The speed with which you remove the strip is key to perfect hair removal. The faster the strip is removed the better the results.
Warm product for an easier, more pleasant experience, do not make it hot.
If you are using Alpha Hydroxy, Retinol, or Glycolic Acid Products regularly, consult your physician before using any hair removal product.
Do not use on sunburned, irritated or injured skin.
Avoid varicose veins, moles and warts.
Always do a patch test on area to be MOOMed & wait a few hours. If no irritation occurs, continue with the rest of the area.
Always test the temperature of your MOOM before use.
It should NEVER exceed 110°F. MOOM SHOULD NOT BE HOT LIKE WAX.
IMPROPER USE MAY CAUSE BURNS, IRRITATION AND/OR BRUISING:
Do not pull the strip up and away from the skin.
Always keep the skin taut during hair removal.
If you are a first-time user, some skin sensitivity may occur, but it will decrease with subsequent use as hair weakens. The skin may turn pink & spotty after hair removal, but should disappear within a few hours.
HINT: in hot weather or when perspiring, apply talc sparingly
It is helpful to prepare a comfortable work area for yourself. One possibility is to place a large bed sheet or towel on the floor to pick up any drips or spills. You will find a mirror is quite helpful for MOOMing the back of the legs. If your MOOM gets cold as you proceed, take a moment to return it to the microwave to be gently warmed to honey consistency.
DO NOT OVER HEAT. THE TEMPERATURE SHOULD NEVER EXCEED 110°F.
The only reason you warm up MOOM is to make it easy to spread.
When you are MOOMing your legs it is important to note the different directions in which the hair grows.
Place your arm behind your head to begin. Note the growth pattern of the hair as it varies widely from person to person. In general, the growth looks similar to this illustration:
It is important to respect your particular hair pattern and to only unidirectional patches. This is critical for effective hair removal. In other words, if the nap of the hair is partly upwards and partly downwards, then you should do one patch with the upwards nap and one patch with the downwards nap.
Work on only 1/2 of area at a time. Spread MOOM evenly & thinly in the direction of arrows, one section at a time, starting from the center. Follow the steps outlined above under General Directions for application of the strip. When you are finished, you may wish to soothe area with some ice cubes. Do not use deodorants or antiperspirants for 24 hours after underarm application.
To finish off, simply rinse skin with lukewarm Water. There is no need for a moisturizers or soothing creams. You may wish to soothe sensitive areas with ice cubes.
Hair re-growth varies from person to person, generally anywhere from 2-8 weeks.
MOOM strips are washable and reusable. Soak in warm water and rinse off with warm water and lay on a flat surface to dry. The strips should not be placed in washing machine.

Eyebrows: Framing the windows to your soul
Before you start, study the natural shape of your eyebrow. In general, thinning your eyebrows too much may have a lasting impact on your general appearance. Since with the repeated use of MOOM some hairs do not grow back, deciding which hairs to remove and which to leave is crucial. Eyebrows are tools your soul uses to express emotion.
It is best to use the natural shape of your eyebrows while removing straggly hairs to reveal a clean and graceful line.
Before you start, read all instructions and practice MOOMing other parts of your body to make sure that you're very familiar with the product and how it works.
MEN'S Chest, Back and Other Areas:
The hairs on the chest and back grow in many different directions. You need to study the pattern before you begin. Trim the hairs back to ½ inch. Powder the entire area with talc or baby powder to lift hair off the skin and absorb perspiration. Apply MOOM in the direction of the growth of the hair in 2x3 inch sections. Place fabric strips on top and rub rapidly 3 times. Holding the skin taut, zip strip off in the opposite direction.
Repeat on the remaining area. It's a good idea to apply a mixture of one part baking soda to four parts water on the MOOMed area to clear off bacteria and prevent whiteheads from appearing due to perspiration. You can use a cotton ball to apply the mixture and rinse off after twenty minutes with lukewarm water.
Underarm: See Underarm directions above.
Lips and the skin surrounding them are among the most delicately sensitive part of the body. To start, study the growth pattern on your upper lip. Making sure you are following the growth of the hair, apply MOOM to each section and remove the strip the opposite way. MOOM in sections similar to the following illustration. Do not MOOM the entire area in one application as this would be ineffective in removing the hairs, and may even cause bruising.
In general, if you study the hair growth on your upper lip, you will observe the following pattern:
Once you have determined the particular growth pattern on your own upper lip area, start by applying MOOM to each section separately following the arrow, so that you are applying the MOOM one strip at a time until finished.
For the face, it is not necessary to warm MOOM, it can be used straight out of the jar. The purpose of warming MOOM is to make it pliable and easily spreadable. Since the areas being MOOMed on the face are small, it is easy to spread MOOM even if it is cold.
Clean & dry area well & apply talc sparingly if perspiring. Afterwards soothe & cool area with ice cube.
To help keep the skin taut for the upper lip area, it is helpful to keep lips taut over teeth or push your tongue against the inside of your lip in the area you are MOOMing.
After placing the strip on top, be careful not to press down on the fabric. Instead, rub rapidly two to three times. The more contact you maintain with the fabric strip, the more heat from your hand will cause the MOOM to seep through making it sticky.
For very coarse, stray hairs on the chin and upper lip, thoroughly immerse the hair in MOOM by applying a small glob to the single hair.
Since the Bikini area is sensitive, it is a good idea to MOOM in small patches of 1x1 inch. You may also need to trim the hairs back to about ¼".
Wash and dry area well. Apply talc or baby powder sparingly to absorb perspiration.
Bend your leg outward to stretch the skin. Apply a very thin layer of MOOM. Using the edge of the applicator remove the excess MOOM leaving only a paper-thin film.
Place fabric strip on top and rub rapidly 3 times. Hold the skin taut while zipping the strip in the opposite direction.

Tips for Successful MOOMing
Instructions are under the lid of the jar, please make sure you read them carefully before beginning
Make sure the area is washed and completely dry
If MOOM is hot, it does not work
Just warm it for 10 seconds at a time in the microwave until it reaches a honey-like consistency so that it is easily spreadable
The fabric strips can be washed and reused for years
For areas other than the face, MOOM has to be applied in a very thin layer, just a thin film is enough. Use the edge of the spatula to thin out the layer.
